The Middle East Organic Products Exhibition kicks off in Dubai

HE Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, yesterday inaugurated the Middle East Organic and Natural Products Exhibition in Dubai.

The exhibition attracted more than 200 companies from 56 countries with a strong presence of Korea and the return of Turkey, Malaysia and Ghana to participate.

The event expects more than 10,000 business buyers and more than 500 VIPs from the Middle East and North Africa.

This year’s edition includes two interactive features: the UAE’s ‘Local Taste’ organic pavilion, which showcases some of the world’s most advanced farm products, highlighting the growing number of vital farms in the UAE and allowing visitors to engage with them in business and experience their products.

There is also the Organic Holistic Health Hub – a dynamic representation of the complementary medicine industry in the region.

Director Chino Pillai stressed that the success of the current edition of the exhibition and its large participation is a reflection of the growth of the organic market in the region.

“We have noticed that the major challenge for international exhibitors when dealing with business at the show is to get locally registered products and turnkey sales,” he said.

Recognizing the need for a local partner, we introduced the distribution package under the umbrella of the exhibition and the distribution package includes the fulfillment service – local product certification, online payment, storage and last mile delivery.

This makes it easier for local buyers as well. We had a great immediate response to it. We are very happy to be a true partner to our exhibitors, and make the show a one stop shop for those who are studying the possibility of entering the dynamic regional market.
