The Global Village, Dubai City, in the UAE, is hosting the “African Footprint” world show, presented by singers and artists, with their music inspired by the atmosphere of South African cities, towns and countryside.

Guests of the Global Village will enjoy 3 amazing 29-minute shows, which the band performs on the main stage on a daily basis during the show’s existence except for Fridays.
The main stage of Global Village, one of the largest cultural parks in the world, from today until Tuesday 31 December, is witnessing exceptional performances introducing guests to the unique African culture.

“African Footprint” shows have enjoyed international popularity since their inaugural presentation to the South African leader Nelson Mandela (1918-2013) during his welcoming ceremony after his release from prison.
The main stage in the Global Village shines with its huge screens that display pictures of the African scenes during the show, in addition to pictures of the artists in their distinctive outfits, which include high-rubber shoes and taps shoes for dancing, sticks and footballs, which reflect the spirit and nature of the people of South Africa.

The group of 27 artists will transport the guests of the global village on a delightful journey through the history of Africa, its culture and civilization, in 7 different and impressive paintings.
Although the “African Foot Print” show runs for an hour and a half of time, it has been modified specifically for the guests of the Global Village for a duration of 30 minutes.

The “African Foot Print” show is an example of an environment of tolerance, which the global village administration seeks to promote through the diversity that prevails in its various wings, in line with the vision of the UAE, to celebrate cultural diversity during the year of tolerance.
