
The Emirates Hotels and Resorts Group said that the tourism in the UAE will witness a major development next year with the support of the Expo 2020 Dubai, noting that the organization of the upcoming event will have a positive impact on tourism in the various emirates of the country. The group announced in press statements, that it will open two new hotels in Dubai and Sharjah, in preparation for the exhibition, in addition to offering offers and packages at its hotels in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah.

In detail, Richard Haddad, CEO of Emirates Hotels and Resorts Group, said that next year will witness a major development in the field of tourism in the UAE as a result of organizing the Expo 2020 Dubai, which will positively reflect on tourism in the various emirates of the country, headed by Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah.
«Paradise – Dubai Creek»
Haddad added in a press statement, recently, that the group is preparing for the upcoming exhibition by opening two new hotels in Dubai and Sharjah, explaining that the hotel scheduled to open in Dubai next February is “Paradise – Dubai Creek”, and includes 138 rooms and 10 suites of the “four” category Nojoom »As a result of the presence of demand in Dubai, especially as the emirate is encouraged at the current stage to establish three and four star hotels.
He pointed out that the number of rooms managed by the group in the country will rise to 820 hotel rooms with the opening of the “Paradise – Dubai Creek” hotel.
Paradise of Ras Al Khor
He stated that the group will soon start setting up the “Ras Al Khor Paradise” project in the Emirate of Sharjah, in preparation for “Expo 2020 Dubai” after the contracts have already been signed and the consultant has been appointed and the design has been completed, indicating that this project is the tallest hotel tower in Sharjah on the Creek by 65 Floor and includes 330 rooms vary between rooms and hotel apartments.

Haddad reported that the group prepared offers and packages at Jannah hotels in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah in preparation for Expo 2020, pointing out that reservations were opened on them, as it includes reservations in any hotel of the group in the Emirates or reservations in two or three destinations together and seeing the landmarks “Expo” and other landmarks in one visit.
He indicated that the group’s hotel revenues in the country grew by 14% during the current year compared to last year, expecting the improvement to continue during the next year with the support of the “Dubai Expo”.

To that, Haddad indicated that the group recently opened the Dibba Oman Hotel in the Sultanate of Oman, indicating that the new hotel includes 43 hotel apartments.
Haddad revealed the group’s new expansion plans in Central Asia, adding that the group was in advanced stages of negotiations and was close to signing contracts for new hotels in that region.
