Emirates Airlines announced that travelers holding passports of specific countries will obtain visas upon arrival at Dubai International Airport.

According to the Dubai Airports Corporation website, “As of March 17, the UAE authorities have suspended the issuance of all entry visas except for holders of diplomatic passports, and this does not apply to travelers who have visas issued before the said date.”

She noted, “Travelers who hold the passports of the following countries can continue to travel to and from the Emirates.”

The list includes citizens of Australia – Austria – Belgium – Brunei – Bulgaria – Canada – Croatia – Cyprus – Czechia – Denmark – Estonia – Finland – France – Germany – Greece – Hong Kong – Hungary – Iceland – Ireland – Italy (from Rome only) – Japan – Latvia – Liechtenstein – Lithuania – Luxembourg – Malaysia – Malta – Monaco – Netherlands – New Zealand – Norway – Poland – Portugal – Romania – San Marino – Singapore – Slovakia – Slovenia – South Korea – Spain – Sweden – Switzerland – Vatican – Britain – the states United – China, Russia. “

According to the foundation, “On arrival at Dubai International Airport, all passengers will undergo a thermal scanning process with cameras, with the exception of those coming from a specific number of countries, as they will undergo thermal examination and nasal smear.”
