
A spokesman for the Expo 2020 Dubai office said that the office continues to work according to the plan, noting that it is closely monitoring the current developments.
He explained, according to the newspaper “Emirates Today” that the office is taking a package of precautions to reduce the risk of HIV infection among all those involved in this event.
He pointed out that some adjustments will be made to the planned equipment, as required by the changing circumstances.
He added that the office follows the directions issued by the Dubai Health Authority, the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, the World Health Organization and other relevant authorities, noting that work is being done with the UAE authorities and the International Exhibitions Office in Paris.
According to the data available from “Arqaam”, the activities of the Expo 2020 Dubai Expo will start from October to April 2020, and it is expected that the exhibition will attract more than 25 million visitors. Visitors from outside the United Arab Emirates constitute 70% of them.
