The Roads and Transport Authority announced the suspension of the Dubai Metro and Dubai Tram service during the period of extending the national sterilization, which starts from eight in the evening until six in the morning, on Sunday 29 March, Monday 30 March, Tuesday 31 March, and the first Wednesday of April and the second Thursday From April, the third Friday of April, the fourth Saturday of April, and the fifth Sunday of April, while all mass transportation services will be regular during the days of the national sterilization extension, from seven in the morning until seven in the evening.
The authority also announced the suspension of all marine transportation services, which include open, air-conditioned, ferry and water taxi, until April 30, 2020.
The Authority notes to the public that all trips on public transport will start at seven in the morning, provided that the last trips are as follows: The last flight of Dubai Metro on the red line at exactly 6:02 pm, from Al Rashidiya Station to the UAE Exchange station, and in time Same from UAE exchange station to Al Rashidiya station. On the green line, the last metro trip will move from Al Khor Station to Communications Metro Station at 6:13 pm, and from Etisalat Metro Station to Al Khor Station at 6:17 pm, and the last bus trips across cities to Abu Dhabi and Fujairah will be at four in the evening, And to Ajman and Sharjah at five in the evening.
During the hours of implementing the national sterilization program, the taxi service will be provided to the public through the “Karim” and “Uber” applications, and a fleet of public transport buses will operate, operating on 13 lines: 8, 10, 12, 13 A, 17, 24, C01, C07, F18, F21, F34, F43 and X23 With a flight rate of 30 minutes each, these lines serve 19 government and private hospitals.
This includes the following hospitals: Rashid, Latifa, Dubai, Al Baraha, Zulekha, NMC, Iranian, American, and Saudi German, with branches in Dubai Healthcare City and Al Barsha, Emirates Specialist, Medina Mediclinic, Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital, Dubai Dental, Hospital Dr. Reda, the American Heart Center, the Safir Center for Daily Surgery, the “BI Health Center for Daily Surgery”, and the Emirates Integrated Center for Medicine and Surgery, and the service will be provided during the period of implementing the national sterilization program, for workers in vital sectors specified by the decisions of the Ministries of Health and Interior, and Medical Cases Emergency.
