A spokesman for flydubai said the company had to make a decision to cut employee salaries for three months, starting in April 2020.
He pointed out that this decision was not taken easily and came to enhance stability in light of the uncertainty and reduce the impact on all employees with the disruption of the normal lifestyle.
The spokesman said that the “Covid-19” virus had a major impact on the aviation and tourism sectors, including the company’s business, adding that the carrier had to adapt to the rapidly evolving situation by taking a decision to cut employee salaries for 3 months.
He indicated that the measures were taken by the senior management team in an emergency manner, with the aim of retaining employees and ensuring that the company is in the best possible place when resuming the usual work schedule.
